While the weather may not be indicative for renting a dumpster or a house clean out,  pricing and rental periods are generally longer during winter months for the home owner,  so if you are thinking of doing a clean out yourself or hiring someone to do it, consider the Months of February, March and April before your local rubbish removal professional gets busy.

Don’t forget to Recycle, not only do all dumpster rental companies recycle metals, but the majority of them also will recycle clothing for you.  Check when you order your dumpster or book your clean out.

Unsure of what is safe.  If your dumpster company does not accept paint cans, televisions or mattresses,  your local land fill or transfer station will generally have a recycle day or hazardous waste day that you can safely dispose of these items.  Check with your town for details

Always make sure your dumpster professional puts the dumpster on boards to protect your driveway and also ask if they are insured, especially if doing a house clean out for you.
